1979年生，目前創作和居住於臺灣臺北。2010年開始接觸繪畫媒材和進行創作。 2013年-2015年間於國立臺北藝術大學研讀藝術碩士學位 (MFA) 時, 開始接觸到當代藝術思潮，也於此時轉換了創作的主題和表現形式, 亦即後來抽象素描創作的起始點 。 2015年至2018的三年間，曾於板橋浮洲地區, 經營一個獨立於體制之外的複合式藝術空間 < 荒原藝術 > ； 此期間舉辦過諸多不同形式的展演活動, 包含：視覺藝術. 行為藝術和表演藝術等； 同時亦為藝術評論自由撰稿人，書寫主題多針對於荒原藝術空間之裝置藝術. 行為藝術和表演藝術活動，作品發表於荒原藝術官網及台新議論紛紛平台。
她的創作核心主要著重於抽象和觀念性的當代素描概念; 嘗試探索自由素描背後所承載的、記憶、影像印記和書寫的心靈本質；對她而言，自由素描是一個在生活中持續流動而逝的片刻經驗，如潛意識般包含著身體所感知,採樣的各種記憶狀態 ; 因此, 當代素描是現象學式的心靈拼圖, 是一連串關於時間、感知和記憶的測度、是影像碎片的隨機描述; 抽象素描帶有一種連續性的書寫性質；在呢喃不斷的絮語迷宮中；尋找個體和集體的心靈象徵和回歸動態平衡的可能性。
Born in 1979, Chien-Yi currently live and work in Taipei, Taiwan. She start both oil painting and acrylic painting since 2010.In the later years, she completed her MFA degree and get to know the contemporary art development while studying at Taipei National University of Art between 2013 and 2015. Her early work, form 2013 to 2015, mainly focus on expressive style of portrait which related to specific topic such as psychosis symptom in our era, however, sooner or later, she discover and realized an huge, existing and unavoidable monster of consumerism has devouring the true spirit of all suffering faces whomever living in a frame.
Therefore, the year of 2015 act as a turning point which drive her way to explore the concept of free sketching. Sketch, as a real verb, indicates a continuous and a sequent move in our daily life experiences, a measuring of our changing position and an description of the dynamic equilibriums, it is more about writing, and more like finding an accurate word with its dynamic description and imagination within.
